The most recent study undertaken by the Department of Health and Hospitals Office for Addictive Disorders shows that Louisiana continues to meet the goal of keeping illegal rate of retail tobacco sales below its goal of 10 percent, with a rate of 8.5 percent, one of the lowest rates in the nation.
